No DR/BDR election taking place in P2MP network.

I have a very basic P2MP OSPF setup in CML. However, I don't see DR/BDR election process taking place. The connected interfaces are also not reflecting any OSPF priority changes made to it.

Right, Only Broadcast and Non-Broadcast have election; all other types do not.

think about P2MP as "bunch of p2p links".

both Non-broadcast types must have Neighbors identified manually.
