Packet tracer problem in vlan packet forwarding

Hi,

I have a problem in attached scenario(vlanscenario.zip)

In this scenario Vlan1 is management(native) vlan on all switches.

There is 2 defined vlan: vlan2 and vlan3 on all switches

Inter switches links are trunk

There is 2 unexpected problem in this scenario

1.the laptop connected to the hub can receive ping requests from vlan 2 in all floor(it should drop it because the packet is tagged using .1q)

2.pings from vlan1 in all 3 floors are received successfully by vlan2 in second floor .

I use packet tracer-7.

Thanks in advance.

Attachment not opening!!

The .zip file contains .pkt file  which is created using CiscoPacket_Tracer_7.0_build_201_X64_GEEKBOY.IR.exe

I checked it again and it seems there is no problem with file.

Thanks

Hello, I just see your packet tracer,

The laptop  "mg21" of vlan 2 that is located in the second floor has the same IP address than the laptop which is connected to the hub (laptop 11)

1. Actually the laptop from the vlan 2 in the second floor pings to itself

2. pings from vlan1 in all 3 floors are received successfully by laptop 11 in second floor.

So I recommend you to change the addressing for vlan 1 or vlan 2 to a different network segment.

Greetings!!
