Failed to install AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client 4.9 because of inter-process communication error (Mac OS). What can I do?

Hey all, 

 

I cannot establish a VPN connection anymore as I cannot install the AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client 4.9.05042 on my Mac because of inter-process communication error (see screenshot). Does anyone know, what I can do about that? The VPN connection used to work without any problems, but for a few days it´s not working anymore.
