Security solution for branch office < 500 users

 have the options of Router using ACLs, traditional Cisco ASA or the Firepower NGFWs.

As of now I'm going with the 1010 for all the added security features like IDS, IPS and everything else it offers. I feel like even though the 1010 might be costly the cost of a data breach would be much higher.

I really don't have any experience in the field only my studies. Any input would be great!

Not sure what is the requirement, if the requirement is protecting the network Firepower is the right model to go with the information provided for all the features you looking to deploy.
