Viptela to Catalyst SD-WAN?

I'm a bit confused - if I have Catalyst 8Ks running Viptela, is it possible to convert them into Catalyst SD-WAN? If so, is there any documentation which outlines the process? I wasn't able to find anything online which leads me to believe it's not possible.

Cat 8K support IOS XE.(i have never seen viptela image on Cat 8K as per my experience)

you can convert normal IOS XE to controller mode to support SD-WAN capabilities.
