SX10 and speakers

I tryed to use proximity today. And have a couple question.

I used tv connected over hdmi cable. Mobile phone could not to discover codec.
Then I attached external speakers to codec and it started to work.
So, Does it work without external speakers connected to codec?
Can codec use built-in TV's speakers  or not?

And second question. Codec requied touch pad when I connect from mobile? Is touch pad required for some function or everything works without it.

1. Using a TV over HDMI should work if the speakers on the TV are able to play at the frequencies required. Try tweaking the volume if nothing is heard at the default volume.

2. The Proximity app only supports some of the functions provided by other user interfaces. To use the full range of features available on Cisco Telepresence products, a touch panel (or remote control) is required.
