Will Proximity network traffic pass through AnyConnect VPN (BYOD solution)

Hi Support Community

I have a question regarding Proximity, heres the scenrio

SX80 v7.2.0

iPad running AnyConnect 3.0 VPN with Proximity APP

-- The iPad uses AnyConnect VPN as our BYOD.  As such, Jabber for iPad is fully operation.

I have set the BYOD experimental config setting on the SX80.  When opening the Proximity APP the iPad appears to be recognised by the SX80.

However the network path does not set up.

Network Path

iPad (VPN) <>  WLAN (VPN) <> Head Office LAN (VPN) <> Data Centre <>  ASA  Firewall <>  Data Centre <>  Head Office LAN <> SX80

The iPad (with VPN) can ping to the SX80.

Are there ports I should be opening on the ASA Firewall?  Or is this network path a bit much for Proximity?

Thanks for advice/suggestions/T-Shooting etc

Hi

The iPad needs to be able to reach the SX80 on HTTPS (443) as the Proximity app will communicate on this port. Make sure HTTPS is enabled on the SX80 as well. You can check that by trying to access the SX80 web interface through a web browser on the iPad.
