Is this fixable

So I trying to determine if this access point is fixable. Hopefully someone has come accross this issue.

Baud rate is incorrect.

Of course it can be fixed. 

Change the baud rate settings of the console terminal to the highest value.  See if the fonts become readable or not.  If not, adjust to the next value below.  Rinse & repeat.

8 data bits.
no parity.

1 stop bit.

no flow control.

I have tried to adjust the Baud rate but I still have the same issue when I look back at the Terminal window.
