Hi,
I provide second level support for Verizon communications. I recent received a request for assistance on a 15454 running 9.4 software. The complaint was that they would receive EID-2056 when they tried to retrieve NODE history or PM from the site.
Upon investigation I found that there were several nodes in the ring exhibiting the same conditions. All of these nodes were node with multiple shelves.
Those nodes with just one shelf did not have the same issue.
I am curious if anyone else has seen this before, and if they have would it be wise to move to the standby software on all the nodes of 9.6.X.X?
