Hi guys

After upgrade the HA-Pair ASA5508-X to release 9.14(2)15 snmp stops responding. I found some hints about the issue, i.e. CSCvu80143, but cannot fix the problem so far.

Which release will fix this problem?

Thanks in advance for your advice!

Best regards

Daniel

Update

After removing and re-applying whole SNMP configuration on all context, monitoring works.

Before, log shows this:

2 172.16.98.18 51438 169.254.6.2 161 Deny inbound UDP from 172.16.98.18/51438 to 169.254.6.2/161 on interface Inside

I have problems with non responding SNMP too. Our version is 9.16.19 and HW is FPR-2130 and sometimes some contexts started to ignore SNMP requests. In this case I delete SNMP configuration at affected contexts or switch failover active member, reboot standby and switch failover again. Today I have four contexts down and two of them were fixed by switching failover several times and two of them by removing SNMP configuration and setting it again. It seems there is no command for restart SNMP service. Might be used configuration command "no snmp-server enable" and then "snmp-server enable" for this purpose. Based on bug "CSCvu80143" I would say this bug is not still fixed as fixed releases are 9.14.X so newer versions are still affected. So an upgrade probably will not fix this issue.
