AsyncOS version information

Cisco IronPort appliance displays the AsyncOS version details while connecting via CLI. Can this be remove? I don't want someone to see this information.

you can not remove, that is not possible in standard operation, instead if you are authenticate with Radius using AAA, you may restrict the command i guess (never tried but that is option you can explore)

by the way if the person know the WSA IP address http://ip:8443 (it will give version of information(not required to login)

thanks! I'll explore the Radius option.

for some reason, our security team thinks that it is best to restrict the AsyncOS information being displayed for admins, so trying my luck to achieve this

sure you can explore with AAA, see if you can Limit people to access WSA IP using http - so they will have no visibility of WSA version
