cisco router 4331 is not resolving DNS queiries

Dears ,

I configured my router to resolve fiew quires with the below commands

#ip dns server

#ip domain lookup

#ip host name.xyz.com  ip address

but when I tried to do nslookup for the same host using the mgmt ip address of the router it gives timeout.

any suggestion please
