Is there a command to completely remove or delete the the EWC ios image from catalyst 9120AX AP so it can have just the WAPCAP ios image. I have converted EWCs to CAPWAP using option 43 using the AP CLI via the command.
AP#ap-type capwap
I got the following output when I typed
sh version:
AP Image type : EWC-AP IMAGE
AP Configuration : NOT ME OR EWC-AP CAPABLE.
This did not help. The EWC image is still capable. I was asked by my boss to do a research for a command that can completely take out/remove the ewc image completely, so that the AP can function only as a light weight and not both. Converting from EWCs to CAPWAP did not help. Anyone has tried deleting EWC ios image from 9100 AP series before and succeeded?
