Firmware Upgrade path for Nexus 5596UP from 5.2(1)N1(4) to 7.3(7)N1(1b)

We have a Cisco Nexus running the old version exposed to security vulnerability. Planning to upgrade it to newer version.

Current version 5.2(1)N1(4)

Target version 7.3(7)N1(1b)

I went through below URL, but couldn't make the right upgrade path and but understood that it has to be atleast running on 7.1(4)N1(1).

I did invest some time and to get to 7.1(4)N1(1) and to 7.3(7)N1(1b), below is what I am planning as the Upgrade Path. Please help me know if this the right upgrade path and I have not missed something here.

5.2(1)N1(4) >> 5.2(1)N1(6) >> 7.0(8)N1(1) >> 7.1(4)N1(1) >> 7.3(7)N1(1b)

yes, your upgrade path is correct, make sure you read the release notes of the version before upgrading and is the features all work as expected in your environment.

Personally each time upgrade, i take config backup out of the box.(many reboots required, good maintenance window).
