I have managed switch and I would like to accomplish the following setup:
I want to connect one Residential Gateway(Internet) to the switch(port 1) to feed all the other ports on the switch to the Internet. The problem with this is now any device connected to this switch will see the each other . This will cause problems. So what needs to be done is isolate all the ports on the switch so that each port can ONLY see the port that the RG(internet) is connected to and NOT the other ports.

this is an example only
interface range gi0/0/1-4 ( you need to replace g0/0/.1-4 with your interface number)
show interface status gives you interface information.
