SSMS LDAP (SMART Satellite Management Software) 6.2.0 with Active Directory

Hi

Has anybody ever successfully connected the SSMS to a Active Directory?

I'm failing the synchronization of the LDAP groups although sniffing the access all data are polled correctly from the directory. I get the following "gidnumber" error message.

Also when I try to add a directory user it fails with the error message "uid" => nil.

Has anybody ever seen that error messages?

Has anybody ever made the SSMS work with an active directory? What is the used LDAP-schema? Is it active directory at all or OpenLDAP or Sun Directory Server?

Any thoughts on that?

It seems to be OpenLDAP see the following presentation (page 62):

... and AD is not supported (version 6.1 and others??):
