TACACS+ on Nexus 9K

i am trying to enable tacacs+ in Nexus 9k.. while i am trying to enable tacacs+ the command line just hangs and i have to press Ctrl+Z to return back to config terminal.. as a result tacacs config is also not reflecting 

please assist

Also.. how do i disable tacacs and return back to local login

Can you post show config which you are adding, make sure you have fall back to Local.

I was trying the following..

configure terminal

feature tacacs+

exit

confg t

tacacs-server host 192.168.1.11 key ****

and so on 

the problem is after each of these commands after i press enter i am not getting the #prompt back..i have to press ctrl+z to get to # and i see a message there as "failed to collect return stimulus"

never come across this issue, is this VPC ? and what version of code?

i m not sure how but a reboot resolved this.
