HI folks,

I have 8 stand alone Cisco 3750G-PS-S Switches. I have upgraded 7 out of 8 Switches with IP Sevices successfully but one gives me hard time. its timing out.

1- there is communication between the switch and the TFTP server (laptop connected to switchport - same subnet through a vlan).

2- ping between both devices successful.

3- forced del current ip base like I did on others to have enough space.

4- tested writing to flash - passed.

5-formatted Flash and wrote to it running config and vlan .dat

6-added exec-timeout 0 0 to con 0

Still have the same error.

is there something that I am missing.

I am using .bin IOS file as I did on other 7 switches.

Please advise,

Best Regards,

Masood

this command doesnt exist.

interface-source exist and has been defined.

here is what I get:

2d00h: %SYS-5-CONFIG_Iopy tftp: flash:
Address or name of remote host [10.124.1.99]?
Source filename [c3750-ipservicesk9-mz.122-55.SE12.bin]?
Destination filename [c3750-ipservicesk9-mz.122-55.SE12.bin]?
Accessing tftp://10.124.1.99/c3750-ipservicesk9-mz.122-55.SE12.bin...
Loading c3750-ipservicesk9-mz.122-55.SE12.bin ... [timed out]

%Error reading tftp://10.124.1.99/c3750-ipservicesk9-mz.122-55.SE12.bin (Timed out)

in other 7 switches, I did not get the line that says

Loading tftps://x.x.x.x

only on this switch.

Hi Masood!
Are you using TFTP32 ?
If you are, close it and open it again. And perhaps you might need to reinstall a fresh copy of TFTP32.

regards,
Ben

No! Winagent.

I move to other switches and they were just fine except this one! Something must be wrong with this Switch.

Best Regards,

Masood

Download tftp32 it is free and always work.
If everything else fails, You will have to do a "xmodem" recovery.

ping 10.124.1.99

Did.

The switch was RMA’d. This one acted up amongst 8. 7 had no issues using my upgrading system but this one.

Thank you Leo.
