I have a 5108 chassis with a pair of 6324 FI's that I am working with in a dev lab environment. I know these are EOL but have questions about the FI 40G scalability port. Can that be used with a QSFP+ to SFP+ breakout cable as uplink ports? I am trying to set this up and notice that I really only have the option to use these as server ports? Are these 1:1 passthrough to blades in the chassis if I go that route? Am I running into a licesing issue with these ports? I don't have any licenses installed and imagine I will have SOME capability to use this without requiring a license? Maybe limited to the 4 x 10GB ports in the FI's only? Seems once you get past 10G Cisco wants $$ to play in that space?
