Unable to finish boot flash:

Good Day,

I have 2960 switch WS-C2960-24TS-L with corruptedIOS image. I used Xmodem procedure to upgrade the IOS from 12.X to 15.X. The Xmodem file transfer is successful and it return me to Switch: . I entered the command boot flash:c2960-lanbasek9-mz.150-2.SE11.bin. and this is what Im getting

Its stop here. According to the document Im reading it should take me to Switch> but that never happen. I repeated the procedure twice and this stuck on the same screen {File "c2960-lanbasek9-mz.150-2.SE11.bin" uncompressed and installed, entry point: 0x3000
executing...

Looks for me Image issue here please verify with MD5  verify /md5 flash:c2960-lanbasek9-mz.150-2.SE11.bin

Can you also provide exact model of the switch that can support K9 image ?

I believe that the problem. What I did is used the same IOS the switch originally have. C2960S-UNIVERSALK9-M.bin and its working. The problem could be related to the RAM. its an old switch.

You are trying to load the wrong IOS image.  You have a 2960S and you are trying to load a 2960 image.

Go here: https://software.cisco.com/download/home/282867581/type/280805680/release/15.2.2E9  and download the correct image.

do u have enough RAM or flash space ? what are min requirements for ios 15 ?
and verify your switch can support ios 15 before upgrading from 12.X to 15.X

Can you please verify the part number?  I can't see a WS-C2960-24TS-L anywhere.  There was a WS-C2960-24TC-L and a WS-C2960-24TC-S?  I think you might be trying to load the LAN Base IOS to a LAN Lite switch maybe?

Or is it a WS-C2960S-24TS-L?
