Hello, I am trying to upgrade the boot code for my cisco switch sg500, but I can't find the file .rfb extension to do the upgrade, Official cisco website provided zip folder with mib files inside it only and I  have no idea how to use this folder to upgrade boot code. If someone can walk me through the steps to how t find the .rfb file or alternative file to do the upgrade, Thank you!

i assume your OS version is 1.3.0.62. so next upgrade version will be  1.3.5.58  and after you download the Sx500_FW_Boot_1.3.5.8.zip from cisco, extract it. then you will see 2 files with .rfb and .ros.

then upgrade boot code using .rfb file and after that upgrade OS using .ros file.

as next step you can upgrade OS to 1.4.1.3 and to latest as a next step.

when upgrading OS it will take some time at first boot to upgrade internal components.
