I am excited to roll-out our new Cisco Support Community Toolbar today. Email invitations will be going out to users who have requested for a pass in response to our announcements. The new toolbar is built from scratch and supported on multiple platforms and browsers. The platform on which the toolbar is built enables us to deploy new features quickly. Here are some highlights from this version of the toolbar.
We have integrated the frequently used search engines on cisco.com giving you an easy access to all of them from one single place. This alone should save you a ton of your time. You can look up for Bug Ids, IOS commands, Error Messages, Service Request Lookups and more. You can also search on cisco.com or on Cisco Support Community using keywords.
Quickly login to cisco.com
Logging into cisco.com is only a click away with the new toolbar. Once you sign in, you are signed in to all of cisco.com.
Watch Communities of interest
We have made it easy to watch for updates from the communities that interest you the most. You'll see a notification icon that alerts you when there is new activity in the community.
Share links and articles
Ever seen an article outside on the web and had the urge to share it with the members in the community? Well, you can do it now with the new Share feature.
There's much more to see....While this is a great start, it is definitely not the end. We look forward to building many more useful features into the toolbar in the future. If you have a particular feature in mind, drop us a note at cscsocial at cisco dot com. If you did not request a Early Access invitation, you'll have to wait for a few more weeks but the ones who requested, check your inbox today.
