I am running into an issue that dhcp running on ASA seems not updating dns right. DNS is running on Windows 2012 R2 server.The issue is that no PTR gets created, deleted or updated automatically in DNS. I checked the setting for dhcp on ASA and I noticed that we did check "update DNS server" option including update both records. But the option for override client settings is not checked. I wonder what it means. Can anyone give me some advice on this? I am not sure if this is related to the issue I am having.
