HOW TO ENTER.
A. Creation and submission of Video:
Step One – Create video: Create a Video no longer than ten minutes as per the specification mentioned in Section B below and upload it on any video hosting site like YouTube using your account. Send us a link to your video at cscsocial@cisco.com along with the following information.
- i. First Name, Last name
- ii. Video Title
- iii. Short Description of the video telling us what the video is the video trying to do
- iv. Category of Submission
- v. Link to Video
All Videos must be submitted before June 1, 2012 5:00 pm pacific time.
Step Two – Review of your Video: Your Video will be reviewed to help ensure that your Submission complies with the Official Rules. Please note that at this point your Submission is undergoing review, and is not yet considered a valid entry into the Promotion. The Video (and any ideas contained in your Video, if applicable) are collectively your "Submission".
Step Three – Confirmation of Entry: Once your Video has been approved by our panel of judges, you will be notified via email to send the Video file to Cisco. You may use Dropbox, YouSendIt or any other file sharing software to share your file with Cisco; and (ii) send them in any format that is acceptable on YouTube.
Step Four –Your Video will be uploaded on Cisco Support Community’s YouTube channel at http://www.youtube.com/ciscosupportchannel and a link to your video will be sent across to you via an email.
B. Submission Format and Content Requirements.
1. Technical Requirements: All file formats that are compatible with YouTube will be considered for this Contest.
2. Length and Language Requirements: The Video must be no longer than "ten (10) minutes" in length, including any tags, and must be primarily in English.
3. Video Topic: The Video must be made on any one of the topics mentioned below and shall be technical in nature and (ii) explain setup, configuration, troubleshooting techniques or the actual technology behind and how it works.

JUDGING CRITERIA
All Submissions will be judged by a panel of judges selected by Sponsor, using the following criteria:
- Complexity of the topic (25%);
- Ability to simplify complex technologies and explain them in simple terms. (50%)
- Quality of slides, drawings etc used in the video. (25%)
In the case of a tie, the Participant whose video received the highest score in the "Ability to simplify complex technologies" category will be deemed the winner.
The judging will take place on or about June 6, 2012.
