Automatic upgrade of CWMS 3.0 Failing to start

I'm trying to perform an automatic upgrade of my CWMS system from 2.8 to 3.0. I've powered on the new Admin VM, gone to the deployment page and entered the relevant credentials.

 

At first, it wouldn't accept the passwords. I ended up having to simplify my passwords before it appeared to accept them.

 

Now after a few seconds, I get the error message:

I can't see a mention of the error message in Bugtrack.

 

Any suggestions?
