Can anybody tell me why the Bug ID: CSCup00769 was identified back in Jabber version 9.2(6) and here were are at Jabber 10.6(2) almost 1 year later and there is Still no fix!!  This is a very important feature and my Office 2013 users don't understand how Cisco is neglecting this!

Because it needs no "fix", it's a sev 6 bug, an enhancement request, they get resources depending on severity priority, and this one is at the bottom. There is a list of pending items that the Jabber team wants to add before they address this.

You may reach your SE/AM so they add you to the list of people looking for the enhancement.

Hi Nathan,

today I get almost the same problem reported. I have done a little research and found this:

http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office_2013_release-outlook/outlook-2013-integration-with-cisco-jabber/f7a31241-3e03-4bcb-bd8d-e31db8e98a81

I had this issue in Jabber 10.6.2 and MS Outlook 2013 Professional!

But after adding these reg keys the problem was solved!

Greetings,

Marcel

Thanks Marcel,  I made a REG file that includes the keys above and this solved my problem!  Thank-you kindly for this insight.  These registry keys allow Jabber to query the Outlook Address Book!  Excellent find.
