Hi Community,
We have deployed Cisco Jabber 11.1.0 and installed to our managers PC's. They can call other clients and also IP phones as well as video conference rooms by dialing the extension numbers.
I wonder why we cannot dial SIP URI address. If we put the SIP address for example abc@company.com, the call button is disabled. But numbers we can dial.
How to enable this feature on Jabber to be able to dial SIP URI addresses?
Thank you in advance.

You need to enable URI dialing in the jabber-config.xml file

Hi Jaime,
Thank you for your response.
Is there a specific Cisco guide to look for the procedure on how to enable URI dialing in jabber-config.xml file?
Thank you.

The deployment guide explains how to create the .xml in case you do not have one, and the parameter reference guide has which parameter you need (and where), you just need to search for URI in the guide.
