In a new customer installation, I just updated all Cisco Jabber components to version 11.9 (we are using VXME and Citrix).
Jabber then no longer shows the vxme icon on the taskbar, and fails to work.
Downgrading the VXMEclient (on local PC end) to version 11.8 fixed the problem.
What is going on?

I assume that the VXME agent has been updated on your Citrix servers too when you're saying that all components got updated.. Are you using XenApp or XenDesktop?
I've recently done the installation for our VD infrastrucutre and it worked fine with Jabber, VXME Client and Agent in 11.9. We'll do a test installion on XenApp the next days.
I never recognized any VXME icon on the taskbar, neither in 11.9 nor in older versions or do you mean the device selection Jabber icon?
