Cisco Jabber 12.6 (Android) Does Not Auto Login After Phone Turned Off

Hi Guys,

Recently I found out that my Jabber client on Android, version 12.6, does not auto login every time the phone is being turned off or restarted. It was not like this a while back ago. Not sure when or why this behavior starts to happen. I tested on 2 Samsung phones and 1 Xiaomi phone, the results were the same. Any idea whether this is part of the update from Cisco or something else? Thank you.

Did you find any solution for this? my customer is complaining about the same issue!

HI Ashar,

Apparently it's a bug. The bug code is https://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCvp90354/?reffering_site=dumpcr. It was visible but now it is hidden from public by Cisco. Hopefully they will fix it in the next version.

Thanks mate. I will let the customer know. Hope Cisco will fix it quickly.

Cisco just removed the auto login feature on Android. They said it is a problem on Android 7 and above, hence they removed it.
