Cisco Jabber 2 Factor Authentication over Mobile Remote Access

HI all,

 

I am looking to extend our Jabber deployment externally using MRA. The end users will be using VDI on these BYOD devices with Jabber running on the native OS of our corporate BYOD devices. We would like to have 2 factor authentication to provide a higher level of security around this solution.

 

I have been unable to find any documentation around 2FA using RSA or some sort of soft token based authentication. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction or provide some insights into this?

You would need to implement MFA on the SSO IdP. Jabber doesn’t care how you authenticate, only that you have a valid SAML cookie in the end.
