CIsco Jabber as softphone in version 12.5 without IMP

Hello,

 

We have cisco CUCM version 12.5. we don't have IMP in current Setup.

some users need to use Jabber as softphones. Is this Possible??

 I tried it but not working.

 

When Jabber tried to connect CUCM error "Cannot communicate withe server"

Anyone tried please help via link or Video Tutorials.

Yes, the configuration would be the same as explained in the Jabber documentation, you would just skip the steps where you enable the user for IM&P and don't assign the user an IM&P server in the service profile.

You can review a PRT from Jabber to get details on why the communication is failing.
