Cisco Jabber automatically play

Hello ,

I have problem with Cisco jabber .

when I dial to another external number via jabber

and  At the same time the vlc player opened in my PC but not play

and I Finish the call ,the vlc player automatically play .

any idea ?

We have seen issues like this in the past, usually with iTunes though. Jabber has a brilliant feature of auto-pausing playback when a call arrives. When that feature has been broken in the past the behavior you’re encountering has cropped up.

Your post doesn’t mention either the platform or version you’re using. If you’re not on 12.1.x or higher I suggest updating the client.

You can run a quick big scrub to see if it’s already known.

If not then you should open a TAC case to get a bug created so the BU can fix it.

my version of CUCM and CUPS is 11.0.1.10000-1.

The version of jabber is  12.0.1 and 12.5.

This has been fixed in Jabber 12.6.0 when using VLC 3.0.6.
