Dear community,

we have several Jabber Clients which are not ringing on the internal Notebook Speakers. We are using Jabber Client 12.6.4.39721.

Ringtone is set to internal Connextant ISST Audi

Speaker is seat to Jabra wired USB Headset

Microphone is also set to Jabra wired USB Headset

When an call comes in, it is not ringing on the laptop speakers.

We tested the internal speakers on youtube and other sites and they are working.

Does someone experienced similar problems?

Thanks,

Marcus

Hello,
Just curious if you have confirmed the users are associated to their line appearance and that the device is associated in CUCM End User profiles. Also you want to confirm that they are associated to the specific device in End User Profile as well as add CTI Enabled on the profile. I have provided a few config sheets.

Configure Cisco Jabber in Phone Mode for Contacts:
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/unified-communications/jabber/213403-configure-jabber-version-12-0-in-phone-m.html?referring_site=RE&pos=5&page=https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/unified-communications/jabber/213403-configure-jabbe...

End User Setup and Handling:

Dear Sergio,

i can confirm bott is really strange because for most of the users including me the "ringing" on the internal notebook speakers are working.

We already tried to reinstall the Jabber Client on the not working computers but without luck.

Regards,

Marcus
