Customer has on-prem IMP&P 11.5.1SU5a and wants to only allow Jabber for X 12.x for chat purposes only. No audio or video etc. I assume I can do this? Most of the time I deploy Jabber on-prem it is for phone calls and chat.

That's IM only mode, don't configure any devices in CUCM, rest of the config would be the same.
