I have installed the cop file for tablet on our cucm 8.6. Added a tabxxx device for a user. I am able to chat using presence but when I click on a contact and want to make a phone call the button is green but doesn't do nothing. I have verified cucm account is entered correctly an tabxxx device is associated to the end user. Any insight on what I have overlooked would be appreciated.

Hello,
It isn't clear whether or not you have soft phone or desk phone devices configured on the Call Manager and if they are associated with the end user. For phone control, we need to have these devices other than the TAB device.You need to make sure that user is also a part of the CTI GAteway Profile on the Presence server to be able to have phone control.

I am not sure if you have rebooted your CUCM server but that is a step that seems to be needed under the Administrative guide and configuration steps. Hopefully, this helps you. If not, I am not sure what your issue may be. I recently configured the same on a CUCM 7.1.5 system, but have not rebooted my cluster yet, and can't make calls.
