Cisco Presence Chat room migration

Dear Experts,

Customer has existing CUPS 10.0 integrated with external database (PostgreSQL databases) for persistence chat. He has created different chat rooms.

Now we are building separate infrastructure with CUCM 10.5 and CUPS 10.5. This will be new installation and we will not upgrade the existing CUCM and CUPS.

Now customer wants to migrate all the chat rooms from existing 10.0 CUPS. Kindly advise how it is possible.

This probably boils down to you moving the data, assuming you will have another postgresql server, to that new server after doing the integration.

Not sure if simply pointing your new servers to the same postgresql would do the trick.

Thanks for reply, actually it worked, I used the same postgresql and I got all the chat room in new presence.
