Hi Cisco Community,
One of our customer is using Cisco Room Bar Pro, for which HDMI input port is being occupied with External Cisco PTZ camera,
Additionally to share presentation source with the help of HDMI to USB-C convertors we are facing issues with the Audio signal locally & far end, we have tried & tested few of the convertors/adaptor listed in the PDF,
Further to over come this issues we introduced HDMI capture card, which will give USB-Audio out to Cisco Room Bar Pro USB port, which we can use as 'Audio Input' source, as mentioned in Cisco Website,
We have tried and tested the setup with reference to attached connectivity,
- With these connections, we can be able to share “Audio content” to the far end.
- However, Locally the “Audio content” is not coming through on the Room Bar Pro.
- Additionally, with these connections “The Microphone Audio” is not being transmitted to the far end.
- While Cisco touch panel there is selection coming with ‘Built in Audio’ & ‘Headset USB’, which will allow us to select & share “Audio content” & “The Microphone Audio” (screenshot attached in PDF)
- Are there any possibilities to enable automatic selection based on the Mic Audio Feed and Content Audio Feed?
In Cisco Room Bar Pro, instead of manual selection, we are seeking your assistance to explore the possibility of creating an automatic selection mechanism based on Cisco Macros (if available), specifically with respect to the “Mic Audio Feed” and “Content Audio Feed.”
Additionally, we are currently unable to receive the content audio feed locally. Is there any possibilities to create such Macros?
or any one has used HDMI IN to USB-C out with Cisco Room Bar pro which will share content + Audio at far end and locally?
It would be greatly appreciated if anyone from community or from Cisco Developer or from end user can guide us to resolve this matter,
