Hi,
I setup a test environment for CUCM, CUP and Jabber.
Should I be able to make calls from Jabber if I have the client services framework setup for an extension or do I have to download a softphone.
Does the CSF and softphone work hand in hand or are they different??

Have you checked what the error says??
Do you have a valid CCMCIP profile??
Jabber and CUPC work either on softphone or deskphone control mode, you can run IPC on the same machine, but it's not really required as you already have the ability to make calls if using it on softphone mode.

I dont't see any error msgs. The CCMCIP profile is created too.
I don't have a valid jabber-config.xml file and my system is not integrated with LDAP
