Hi community!!
With the Broadcom (VMware) changes in licensing, any of you has trying to explore with a new hypervisor for install the Collaboration applications? Im searching new options, because for some scenarios that I have, purchasing o renew VMware license are not the best option for the cost.
For example, I read about Proxmox, but I understand that Cisco currently only supports ESXi, and the support with the TAC its another thing that we need consider.
If any can guide me or suggest a recommendation about this, I will appreciate
Thank you all

As @Roger Kallberg pointed out, VMware is currently the only hypervisor supported by CUCM. This could change in the future, so itās best not to waste time experimenting with other hypervisors that might lead to problems. Wait until Cisco officially announces support for alternative hypervisors as a viable option to VMware.

There are no other options for hypervisor than ESXi.

Side note, using anything other than ESXi will also prevent you from receiving any technical support on the product.
