I need some claryfication regarding CUCM (10.5) CAC (region and location) for Jabber Desktop Sharing on PC.
I am observing strange behavior connectet with CAC.
If the user use WiFi network, it seems that CAC works OK.
IF the same user changes network form WiFi to LAN cable the CAC doesn't work OK.
Could you explain why CAC works OK on WiFi but not work on LAN cable ?
We don't use any mobility setting for CSF. CUCM 10.5
I use Maximum Session Bit Rate for Video Calls parametr for CAC setting.
CAC is completely unaware of what you use for connecting to the network, I'd look at a Jabber PRT using wifi and another one using wired to compare them.
