We are currently working on CUCM 11.5 upgrade to 12.0 customer is OK with the Direct model ..& customer said the IP address for CUCM is with the internet access given...how do we cross check that after upgrade done how CUCM 12.0 version is running with the Internet access...

Hi,
To verify internet connectivity from CUCM, SSH to the CLI of CUCM IP and then use below command to ping to any public IP Address such as 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4. If you get reply from these IP then it means your CUCM has access to internet.
utils network ping 8.8.8.8 utils network ping 8.8.4.4

Specifically the Verify section. You will know quickly if the access is working or not. Note even if the conneciton fails, you still have a 90 day grace period to establish connection.

thanks for respond..i checked in lab with internet access & without
internet access to 2 different CUCM nodes..where able to check by utils
network ping 8.8.8.8 command...
