CWMS 2.5 - On-premises WebEx IP addressing for Network Adapter.

Hi 

We are installing CWMS 2.5 on-premises webex on UCS server.

we have question on IP address for ESXi

Question is: Is it Mandatory to have IRP VIP and ESXi IP address on same subnet?

Can ESXi IP address of UCS server and IRP IP address can be on different IP Subnet, as shown below ?

While installing CWMS OVA, during network configuration, it says Network adapter 2 must be mapped to the same destination as Network adapter 1.

Pls. suggest.

Real IP address of the IRP server (Internet Reverse Proxy at DMZ)	10.1.10.10
Public VIP address - (Internet Reverse Proxy at DMZ)	10.1.10.11
ESXi IP address for UCS server	192.168.10.12

The ESXi management interfaces can be completely independent of the virtual machines.

Hi Rajesh,

IRP VM IP and PUBLIC VIP address must be on the same subnet. As for the ESXi host IP address, that doesn't need to be on the same subnet as IRP VM IP and PUBLIC VIP.
