We are migrating our CWMS from one ESXi host (UCS C-Series) to another ESXi host (UCS B-Series) (no upgrade & no expansion), i have been reading in the admin guide and i see no section specific to migration procedure, does that mean we should just do a normal VCenter migration, shut down VMs, migrate then power on?
Is there any specific order to which that is done like shutdown IRP 1st, does CWMS support vMotion?

I ran CWMS for several years and did live migrations all the time. It should work fine. I guess if you wanted to play it really safe you could shut the VMs down first, but just follow the Admin guide for the ordering on that.
BTW, we're now running CMS and it's great.

What do you mean by "to play it really safe you could shut the VMs down first"? are you assuming i will be using vmotion also regarding CMS what do you do for screen control?
