deleting a user and re-adding him back

Hi,

I am testing Jabber clients in a test environment with no LDAP integration.

I created few users manually and deleted one specific user.

Now when I readd the same user to CUCM and I can't get him to login to jabber. I get invalif userid/pwd error.

How to overcome this.

There are a few steps you need - first most likely to help you would be to go to System/Licensing/Capabilities Assignment in Ccmadmin, and assign CUP/CUPC rights to the user.

Hi Aaron,

I assigned these rights. If create a user with a new name it worls fine.

It is just that after I delete a user and recreate it. He can't login to jabber

Does the recreated user appear in CUPAdmin?

Is it assigned to a node?
