hello,
We use Desktop sharing with the 9.1 version of Jabber.
the CUCM version is 8.6.2 and CUPS version 8.6.4.11900-1
the desktop sharing works well but if we disconnect the video call but the Desktop sharing is not stop before the disconnection, a Red square stays around the screen and we have to quit or kill jabber process in order the desktop sharing function stops.
We then restart Jabber and all is OK.
if we stop the desktop sharing before disconnecting the video, we have no problem.
I know that the good way is obviously to stop Desktop sharing before disconnecting (the desktop sharing using a specific video channel inside the video call) but unfortunately, users sometimes forget this.
Is there a plan to modify jabber in order to stop Desktop sharing automatically as soon as the video call is disconnected ?
Thx
Olivier

That is a bug if I ever heard one. Open a TAC case to get the defect filed.
