I have an issue at a client where they do not want the users to be able to do UDS lookup to CUCM when connected via MRA as they do not want the client to be able to see all contacts on CUCM. Is this possible to do via the config.xml file ? Or alternatively is it possible to force the UDS search to only search based on certain Department ?
No, that is not possible, when you use MRA you are automatically switched to UDS (if using LDAP on-prem) and that's by design. UDS is a flat directory, so there is no way to configure it so you can only look at certain people/group
If you use LDAP on-prem, you could try the LDAP search.
Thanks for the prompt reply ,yeah we do use LDAP on prem ,and there we can define the OU the user is allowed to search ,problem is the fallback to UDS when user is off prem. Guess we will just have to upgrade to CUCM 11 so we can use the LDAP proxy feature ?
Is there a way in UCCE with using an admin script maybe using the email application in Call Studio to send out an email? I know in UCCX you can send out an email if the script were to fail but is there a way to do it in UCCE? Any help would be great!
