Hi,

I'm going to building Jabber environment.

Must I configure CUCM and IM&P's A record on the Internal DNS server ?
I wasn't able to find that information on the CCO.

If you know, Could you provide that information ?

takuro.

You need DNS records to deploy jabber.

Please refer to the deployment guide.

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/jabber/10_5/CJAB_BK_D6497E98_00_deployment-installation-guide-ciscojabber/CJAB_BK_D6497E98_00_deployment-installation-guide-ciscojabber_chapter_011.html#JABW_CN_CB9D0849_00

At a minimum you need to setup the uds-srv record, this must point to your UDS servers.

You also need DNS for certifficate deployment. Jabber heavily relies on certificates for secure authentication. Please review the certificate requirements int he deployment guide as well

Hello, Takuro

What does mean - CCO ?

br Oleksandr

Google can answer that, and I do mean that, it has a special section if you search "cisco cco" you'll see an option that says:

What is a CCO ID?
A CCO ID is a personal log in for the Cisco.com website. With help of the CCO ID you can register for trainings, events, programs and promotions.
The other, wider, meaning of CCO, is someone telling you to search/do/whatever on cco, is to go to cisco.com

Hi Jaime,

Ok.

What is the relationship between the CCO-ID and the DNS for Jabber ?  :-)

br Oleksandr

No relationship

Simple translation for his message is:

I went to cisco.com and couldn't find information on DNS for Jabber.

Hi,

Thank you for your support.
I really appreciate you.

takuro.

Hi,

The CCO means "Cisco Connection Online",
to be exact, The CCO means "www.cisco.com".

My co-worker, says so.
