Echo issues Plantronics Savi W440 & Jabber on Mac

Have end user that has the Plantronics Savi W440 connected USB to their MacBook Pro running 10.14.

Jabber for Mac is the latest version, Oct 2019. 

Seems after several days of inactivity (laptop left on desk) Jabber and Plantronics develop a huge echo. Echo is so bad one would think the person talking to is faking the echo. 

 

A reboot of the Mac seems to fix the issue.

 

Anybody else out there with  Mac's and Savi headsets having this type of issue? 

 

Another laptop running windows 10 does not have this issue.
