Hi Guys,

we are planning to deploy the expressway C Cluster (HA) for the Calendar Connector between Exchange and Collaboration Cloud. Part of the customer requirements, Expressway C need to be in the DMZ rather internal network. I have couple of question regarding the expresway C design.

1. Expresswway C cluster will be deployed in the DMZ area. what ports/protocols involved in the communication between Expressway C to Collaboration Cloud and Expressway C to exchange.

2. what ports requirements for the Expressway C clustering?.

3. is the certificates are Mandotory in Expressway C ?. who sign the certificate for Expressway C, is it internal CA or Public?

4. How often Expressway C calendar connector polling the exchange for the users update?. Because this information will assist us to design their exchange environment

5. is there any license/option/release keys requires for Expressway C?.

Thanks

Chris

Thanks Marc to point me to right direction.

I have gone through the document, but no details about the polling frequency between Expressway C and exchange server. Also, it dosen't mentioned who should sign the certificate for expressway C for the secure connectivity with Cisco Collaboration cloud.

Thanks

Chris

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your reply and sorry to hear the guide didn't answer some of your questions.

I took a look at the CA info in the guide and I see we're missing a link to the CA list: https://collaborationhelp.cisco.com/article/en-us/0q4utq . We'll get that link added to the guide.

For polling frequency, I'm not sure, sorry. I believe that's the role of the throttling policy documented here: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cloudCollaboration/spark/hybridservices/calendarservice/cmgt_b_deploy-spark-hybrid-calendar-service/cmgt_b_deploy-hybrid-calendar-exchange_chapter_010.html#task_CB78B94EF3314588849BA11255E0BF0E  If that's in error, let me know and I'll see what information I can find out.

Thanks and good luck!
Marc
