Grabbing Profile Images Stored in Sharepoint

Hi Folks,

The old Jabber profile pic problem with a twist.  We're using URI substitution so jabber-config.xml looks like this;

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>

<config version="1.0">

<Presence>

   <PresenceServerAddress>CXCUPS01</PresenceServerAddress>

   <PresenceServerDomain>ourdomain.com.au</PresenceServerDomain>

</Presence>

<Directory>

   <PhotoUriSubstitutionEnabled>true</PhotoUriSubstitutionEnabled>

   <PhotoUriSubstitutionToken>sAMAccountName</PhotoUriSubstitutionToken>

      <PhotoUriWithToken>http://intranet/PublishingImages/sAMAccountName.jpg</PhotoUriWithToken>

</Directory>

<Policies>

   <InitialPhoneSelection>deskphone</InitialPhoneSelection>

</Policies>

<Options>

   <ShowOfflineContacts>false</ShowOfflineContacts>

   <DockedWindowVisible>false</DockedWindowVisible>

</Options>

</config>

And I can see it by going to http://addressofccm:6970/jabber-config.xml

But no images.

I can go to http://intranet/PublishingImages/geordieg.jpg and see my own ugly mug, so I know the location is correct, the config XML was created by the generator, and I can see that it was published successfully.  Does each client get the generated URL to get the profile picture, or does CUPS contact the web server and publish it to the jabber client? Or does CUCM grab it?  How does this step of the image getting from the location described in the UI to smiling in the user's client work so I can troubleshoot what can't see what?
